The Original ThreadMaster Formula that set new standards for clarity and leveling in a Polymer Thread Finish. The High Build formula was designed for one or two coat application depending on the final desired film thickness. Characterized by its accelerated cure cycle, glass like leveling, superior depth of image and gloss and long term water white clarity, ThreadMaster High Build also exhibits the unique characteristic of being quite a hard, durable finish, yet very flexible. This is the finest finish for decorative threadwork of all kinds….extremely durable and flexible with an ultra high gloss and virtually water clear. ThreadMaster High Build is the perfect finish for all rodbuilding applications, be it the large factory OEM, the high volume custom shop, or casual weekend builder who needs a quick curing, high performance thread coating.
The much anticipated ThreadMaster Lite retains all of the desirable high performance attributes of ThreadMaster High Build, but with a few added features. The viscosity has been reduced by about 35% giving the user the ultimate in thread saturation along with a thinner, less intrusive final topcoat.Additionally the thinner viscosity provides a virtually bubble free mix along with increased flexibility. We have also increased the pot life, for those who prefer a longer open time, or for the production builder coating multiple rods with one batch of finish. As always, ThreadMaster Lite retains the water white long term clarity it’s become famous for. Perfect for all rods where the builder prefers a low build, multiple coat application, or use as a primer coat, and then top with ThreadMaster High Build.
This is what Paul from Newcastle says about Threadmaster
"The Threadmaster is great stuff. I`m currently using Threadmaster Lite and getting great results. I'm using it as a multiple coat for my guides and getting fantastic clarity and ease of use. As for the mixing of the resin, having no problem with air bubble retention and great final results upon curing of the finish.Threadmaster comes highly recommended from me 10 out of 10".

Lumiseal One Part Urethane 2oz Bottle
Lumiseal is a one part "hot" moisture curing urethane. It can be used to coat a bare or painted blank and also makes an extremely durable low build guide wrap finish. It can be applied over Chromaseal for those who use a colour preserver. Lumiseal can also be used as a primer coat in conjunction with Threadmaster finish when your goal is to achieve a rich, deep high gloss finish. This stuff is really as tough as nails. Here are some tips on use and storage
Use a coffee filter or cheese cloth soaked in Lumiseal and swipe it up the blank for a tough gloss finish
Use a high qulity brush for guide wraps
Lumiseal is tack free in aout an hr. Depending on humidity let dry for 24hrs before recoating to avoid bubbles forming between the coats.
Pour your needed amount into a glass vessel such as a shot glass. Do not use a plastic vessel with Lumiseal.
Use Lumiseal in a well ventilated area
Make sure to clean the glass portion of the threads well before re attaching the cap. This will minimize the chance of the cap fusing to the bottle. Did I say this stuff is tough?
After use add either ball bearings or marbles to the bottle to elevate the level of the liquid so its up near the lid. As Lumiseal is moisture curing do your best to eliminate any outside atmsphere inside.
Store Lumiseal in the fridge to get the most out of the life of the contents.
